Neodymium iron boron magnets, also known as NdFeB, NIB, or Neo magnets, are the most widely used type of rare earth magnets. It is the strongest type of permanent magnet made from an alloy of neodymium, iron, and boron with a Nd2Fe14B tetragonal crystal structure.
The basic shapes of neodymium magnets are blocked, arc (mostly used in DC motors), disc, cylinder, and ring. More complex and asymmetrical shapes are made by wire cutting, drilling, or machining. The process of sintering and making large quantities of neodymium magnets has its own limitations. Therefore, not all shapes are within our normal manufacturing capabilities. Please use the contact form to ask our team about shaped neodymium magnets.
The first step in manufacturing. We recommend inspecting a prototype or sample of your new custom neodymium magnet and making sure that its magnetic properties meet your requirements. Obviously, this is an important step in ensuring that we are using the correct magnet for your application and properly optimized by the engineering teams of both companies.
