The development of China's rare earth industry has gone through cycles and sustained growth. According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, China's exports of rare earth permanent magnets have continued to grow since 2013. In 2022, China's exports of rare earth permanent magnets reach 53288 tons, the growth of which is 8.6% year-on-year. From 2013 to 2022, China's apparent consumption of rare earth increased steadily, with CAGR reaching to 11.51%. From 2019 to 2022, when the downstream demand is generally impacted by the epidemic, the compound growth rate of apparent consumption of rare earth will still reach 16.03%. Historical experience shows that China's rare earth industry has strong development resilience and prominent growth potential.
